Showing consistent strong tournament finishes since 2004, Grubby, together with Jaeho "Moon" Jang are the only players in WarCraft 3 history to have at least one major tournament win every year since 2004. His achievements include the World Cyber Games in 2004, the Electronic Sports World Cup in 2005, and the World Series of Video Games in 2006. |

Wouter van Someren (nickname: Handewasser) won the champion of Project Gotham Racing at the WCG 2007 and WCG 2008.
Here comes the youngest Hall of Famer ever, Wouter "Handewasser" van Someren who was nominated at 'eSPORTS AWARD 2008' as a 'Consoles Player of the Year'. |

Handewasser has started his Project Gotham Racing career at the WCG 2006 Grand Final winning his first Group Full League match. Handewasser won surprising 6 matches, but he didn't advance to the next round, because he was relegated to the third place. |

After almost a year of training, Handewasser kept challenging WCG 2007 Grand Final, and finally won the gold medal. This year, he also has represented his country, Netherlands, and became the best Project Gotham Racing player, among 28 players who came from all over the world.
Now, beyond all doubt, Handewasser is the representative gamer of Netherlands with Grubby who is also Hall of Famer. |

Byung-geon Kang(nickname: iamgrunt) won the champion of Age of Empires III at the WCG 2001 and WCG 2007.
In 2001, Byung-geon Kang teamed up with Jae Back, Lee(Koven) to win the gold medal, and paved the way for South Korea to claim the title of Grand Champion. He was 18 years old at the time, and he became the face of Age of Empire in Korea. |

That same year, he won the Asia Pacific Cup and MS organized World Championship in November to become widely known as one of the world's best AOE player. However, in WCG 2002 Korean National Finals, he lost to Seo Young, Ahn(Kimchsarang), which caused him the chance to be the Korean representative. |

In 2007, he proves his skills once again by taking the gold medal in AOE, and finally joins the WCG Hall of Fame.
He gives thanks to his parents who understood him concentrating on games rather than studying. He gave up the Korean SATs to join the competition, and won the championship trophy, which he gifted to his parents.
We believe that all of his sacrifices and efforts is what made him the best AOE player in the world. |

Kyung Hyun Ryoo won the champion of Dawn of War at the WCG 2005 and WCG 2006.
He started playing games with WarCraft III. Dong Hyun Kim, WarCraft III gamer and close friend of Ryoo, recommended DOW to Ryoo and rest is history. Maybe this is why so many famous Korean WarCraft III gamers come to cheer on Ryoo at the WCG National Finals in Korea. |

Ryoo practiced for the WCG Grand Final whenever he was not in school, eating, or sleeping. He always practiced hard to keep his ID at the top of the international DOW ladder, and this is why he is now recognized as the best DOW player in the world.
As a WCG participant, Ryoo enjoys talking and hanging out with gamers from other countries. He has a great personality, and he is usually together with many friends. Within Team Korea, his cheerful personality is infectious and raises his team mates' spirits. However, his biggest joy comes from being able to compete against and meet the DOW gamers around the world. |

In 2005, Ryoo moved to New Jersey, USA with his family. He is continuing his high school studies and of course enjoys playing games during his spare time.
Ryoo said "I'm happy to present a second consecutive WCG gold medal to my parents." He is, without a doubt, the world's best DOW player. |

| Mattew Leto(nickname: Zyos) maintained his champion status in Halo in WCG 2004 Grand Final following his championship in WCG 2003 Grand Final.
He is an ordinary guy who majors in Computer Information System
at an university. But he becomes the most extraordinary player in the world when he starts playing Halo. |

been composed of full league (Round Robin) and single elimination. Obviously, the 1st player of each group in full league advanced to single elimination. |

Finals as a US representative and showed his excellent skills and strategies to the world.
He accumulated nothing but victories and earned his championship in WCG 2003 Grand Final (the first event which had console game event).
And then he maintained his championship after earning all victories except for only 1 match in WCG 2004 Grand Final.
The press and spectators of the Grand Final were all amazed by his excellent performances. He has now became the most famous halo player in the world instantaneously.

won the champion of Starcraft: Broodwar at the WCG 2001(the 1st WCG) and WCG 2002.
He was famous pro-gamer in Korea when he participated in WCG as korean representative.
So every korean wished he could show korean power at playing. |
